can you ever forget?  | |  i heard someone today saying that their other had done something in their relationship and they had forgotten about it until the other brought it up, and it was something like cheating or something like that anyways it wasn't just something minor, it was something a little major, and they said that they forgave and forgot and i know the forgiving part maybe able to be done, but could you ever really forget that it happened to you and that that person had done it to you? i want to thank you for taking the time out of your day to come by and read and review my discussion, and hopefully answer, i hope that you all have had a great week and that you have a happy and safe evening and weekend, thanks again for taking the time to come by!

Even if it was a traumatic romantic experience, I have forgiven both of them. I had to forgive because that is the only way I could move on with my life. I did not want to carry heavy emotional baggages. Although I have moved on since then and I am happy with my life, I will never forget these experiences. I think it would be best to remember just the good memories though because the bad ones would just pull us down into negative feelings.

It is essential in life to experience the pain and the hurt in order for us to know the real meaning of joy and happiness. In order for us to grow we experience this things.
