| The Jimi Hendrix Experiences last remaining member has died  | | | |  Mitch Mitchell, drummer with the Jimi Hendrix Experience, died on Wednesday the 12th of November. I don't really follow music news like I used to so I only just heard about this now. I find this incredibly sad. This means none of the original Jimi Hendrix Experience are around anymore. Jimi Hendrix died in 1970 and bass player Noel Redding died in 2003. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/h...

| |  Oh how sad. I hadn't heard this news either. I was fortunate enough to be in attendace at a fundraiser for a Jamie Hendrix charity several years ago in NYC where I met (briefly) with Mitch. He was such a warm spirit. Thank you for sharing this sad news with us.
