Our Education channel has been running test for us to see whether you needed a converter box. Our showed that we didn't need one but this week we lost all signals in the middle of the day and did not have anymore signals on our T.V. with rabbit ears when we checked Sunday morning. They did not tell us this was going to happen so it might just be failure on their part somewhere as we did have a bad wind storm Thursday the day before. We just went ahead and put on converter boxes as my daughter had come home and brought us two. I wonder how many old people are going to have trouble redoing their T.V. set up especially if they have a DVD player or recorder already hooked-up. I am glad my daughter was here to do all of that as I probably would have lost patience and just went out and bought a T.V. already with the converter.
