Many of us love doing concert while in the bathroom. Why?

I have no idea LOL. i have sang in the shower or bathroom a few times when I felt energetic and happy about something. I usually just hum though.

yes. i love to do that too. i am not a good singer and i cannot sing well and so i need to practice. apart from going to singing session at karaoke, i would practice in shower and it is a rather nice feeling and experience. it also makes showering enjoyable and i love it

Many people admit to singing in the shower. I think there are a couple of reasons and they are that people are relaxed when showering and feel comfortable in the bathroom. Mind you, some people I know (including myself) are completely tone deaf and therefore should only sing when they are in the shower. I think part of the reason many people sing in the shower is that acoustics are generally pretty good in that room. Also it is generally the one room in the house where people can ask for and get some privacy. It might also be that many people know they could not sing to save their life, even if they enjoy music and singing. So when they sing while in the shower, they can enjoy themselves safe in the knowledge that the running water will drown their voice out to others ... and in some instances the neighbourhood dogs who might think someone was howling for them. Actually it surprises me that you can get througb three songs while you are taking a bath. I must admit that I take showers and because we do not have vast amounts of water here, I generally make them fairly quick ones at that. Oh yes maybe once a week I will take a long shower or evena bath if the muscles are really tired and need to be rested. I would not sing in the bath though as there is no running water to drown the sound out. AND as organic farmers we are not allowed to keep more than 1 male dog, and my partner would get extremely upset if all the dogs from the neighboiurhood came visiting us on the mistaken assumption I was howling for their company.

Hello wrangel. Sometimes I sing in the bathroom while taking a shower though not always. I don't know the exact reason why people love to sing in the bathroom, but I think that it might be the reason that it makes them feel more relaxed while taking a shower.

Yes i love to sing in the bathroom but it depends upon my moods, if i am happy then i sing but if i am not in the mood i cant sing. I think singing is associated with emotion or our feeling, if we are happy we like to sing a happy song but if we are sad we sing sad song too.

i have no idea about this,for me, i never do sings in the bathroom, because i'm not good at singing,however,i like to turn on the vdo loundly while i'm taking a shower.good luck and have a nice day.

People like to sing because it helps them relax or they are happy and it makes them feel good. Me, myself no I do not sing in the shower. I sound probably like a croaking frog and I wouldn't want people to run in there to see if I was dying or hurt...lol boy would my face be red.

i believe that (bathroom) is the most private place to be. it is in that place that no one will enter without our permission. so we feel more relaxed and at ease. you can also see people (when alone at house) tend to sing when they are very happy or excited. it is just related to the ease at which we feel and that gives us the freedom to express ourself by singing. hope this makes some doubts clear. happy mylotting.

I will agree it is the acoustics. In other parts of the house there are fabrics and materials that absorb sounds. Curtains, carpets and fabric covered furniture all absorb sound. The hard materials in a bathroom with little to no fabric reflects sound so it seems to resonate. Also you are in a private place. I also think there is something about the water that stimulates the singing response. I have heard about caged birds that sing when someone turns on water taps, I guess it sounds like rain to them.

cause that is there time by there self. i do it sometimes but not all the time.
