What do you feel about people talking loudly in their mobile phones in public?

Hi positiveminded! I had started a discussion on this a while
back! I personally find it very annoying! Mostly because
the people talk loudly and long! They get on the bus with
the phone in their ear and stay on it the whole ride! And it
usually isn't just one conversation! It can be 6 or more at
the same time! And not only that, but they are in different
languages too! So you are hearing a mixture of a whole big
mess! Try listening to that! I don't want to hear any of it!
I was told in my discussion to put on headphones! I got really
pissed off at that! Sometimes I just want to sit there and
not have to be "plugged" into anything! I'm so sorry but I
think that it is rude and obnoxious to carry on long annoying
conversations. I can understand if you need to take or make
a call but some of these conversations are ridiculous and
disgusting! I'm not interested in hearing them! And yes, I have
heard so real dousys!

Well i think that some of those people who look as if they are talking on their mobile phones are indeed NOT.They are actually talking to no one & talk loudly so that everyone will not only hear them but so that we too look at their brand new £200 top of the range mobile. What ya think?
Yes to those who were talking i think most of the time its funny.I mean why dont they put it on loud speaker & be done with it.

I am annoyed by it only if it is talk about gossips and stuff. If the call is rather a short call where the caller is having a hard time hearing due to the loud noises the bus makes I don’t mind. Every now and then we all have to make phone calls a quick one.

I only am bother by those who loves to talk, I mean chit chat for hours and don’t mind everybody listening on their conversation. I mean if I was on the bus, I would bring a book and read and would expect it sort of quiet for reading time.

Now with people taling on their cel phones what do i think about that? well for the most part i would have to say that it all depends on my mood . sometimes it is super annoying and i dont need to know what i just heard . sometimes just want the peace ya know . time and a place for all things . why they gotta be so loud!

I try to over hear too. Hey, if your going to yell and scream for all the rest of to hear, I'm going to listen! I havn't really heard anything funny yet. In fact most of the time I start to listen, but then they're just so boring that I tune my attention to something else. And as much as I hate to admit it, my mom is a loud cell phone talker. Even at home. I'll be watching t.v. with her and her cell phone will ring. Sometimes she talks so loud I have to turn the t.v. up. Then of course she gets annoyed and goes in another room. Hey, your phone is moveable, the t.v. isn't. Get over it. You know? lol.

I don't like it when someone gets on their speaker phone and listens to their voicemail while shopping thru the store...bugs me lol.

Ithink that it is rude. I feel that they should try to go someone private if they want to speak loud. If not they should respect the people around them and keep it to a mimium.

It varies from person to person.We can't blame them for that,it's their habit. But then to be frank,I don't like when people talk so loudly. It's a form of moise pollution. I have heard few people scold the person on the opposit side in bad words,such things are really bad. I guess they need not have the mobile gadget. They'll talk so looud that the other person can hear him/her directly

I think sometimes it's really unavoidable to talk loudly over the cellphone especially if the one on the other line can't hear you and you are talking about a very urgent thing. Other than that however, I believe it is not polite to speak too loud in public. Even when not using the cellphone and you are only talking with a companion, it is not very pleasant to the ears of other people when the two of you talk as if you are the only people in that place. I've been hearing a lot of people inside the bus talking as if they own the bus. They'd talk too loud disturbing my sleep or my reading and that really more often than not very annoying to me. I also do use my cellphone inside the bus but when I do I am very careful not to raise my voice and would not want to bother the people with my talking. It takes just plain and simple good manners and right conduct.

Oh!! this is pretty annoying. Of course it bothers me a lot. Seems like rude? maybe this people did not realize that some people are disturbed with their loud voice talking. well, if it is a sort of emergency, it is an excuse but if it is purely socializing? my goodness!! they have to wait when they will be in their private abode, then they can shout to the top of their voice and even laugh out loud talking to somebody with their phone.
