The definition of Marriage...  |

 Ok I was reading a discussion that I didn't bother to reply to because seriously I had no clue what the persons point was. But anyway one part of the discussion said that Marriage means man and woman.... My personal opinion is that it doesn't matter your sex, race, or religion, if you wanna get married to someone then go for it. I decided to look up the definition of marriage and this is what I came across
"Marriage is a social, religious, spiritual, or legal union of individuals. This union may also be called matrimony, while the ceremony that marks its beginning is usually called a wedding and the married status created is sometimes called wedlock." Now to me that does not mean it is between man and woman only. What is your opinion on this???

| 2. gapeach2369 (168) | 1 year ago |  your completely right to me it doesnt mean just man and woman its anyone to anyone or anything to anything.......... marriage is the combineing of two people to work together and work towards the same goals in life no matter who or what they are.... i dont believe you have to be legally married to consider yourself in a marriage you do not need a peice of paper to tell you that you love each other and want to go through life with eachother

That is why a lot of Religious people do not believe in homosexuality. They beleive it goes against what the Bibles teaches us.

| 8. xavier_sh (150) | 1 year ago | ur definition of marriage is also acceptable . in my opinion marriagew is a bond that is made between any two person that holds social, religious and legal permission for two person to live the whole life together. it becomes spiritual bond if two people accapt each other by heart else it is just a formality of life to born, marry, reproduce and die. and about marriage between man/man or woman/man is really not a big matter. so what if two man can live a happy life together then it's not a great deal. | |

You do not have to live with them and it is not you that lives in the marriage. Legal matters have little to do with the bible. If they can walk freely and exress their feeling for one another in the presense of people that do not agree with the marriage then why should they be stopped from having that piece of paper if they really want it? | |
