2.  zeethegr8 (356) | 1 year ago |  While my mother tongue is Hindi here in India. In Hindi " I'm sorry" is said like "Moojhey Maaf Karr dee jiye". Please forgive me and I am sorry is said in the same way. You didn't mention the the language in which your sorry is said?!

| 3. mibngold (1525) | 1 year ago |  I am always saying I am sorry for something and then I remember reading somewhere that saying "I'm sorry" is a sign of weakness...I have no idea why...So, "I apologize" is the way I say it. It may sound silly but that is what I do!

i just wonder what is the difference of saying "I am sorry" and "I apologize". Where did you read that statement so that we can study how the writer say so? I think both are the same in meaning.

I just know that I have heard, on several occasions that saying "I'm sorry" is a sign of weakness..."I apologize" may just as well be the same sign as far as I know...I just so happened to switch it up a bit..But, if you ever do find out the difference..would you please let me know?
