When do you put your Christmas Tree up?

We normally put our tree up the first sunday in december,don't ask me why we just do and the decorations follow and then the inside lights go up then the outside lights go up,usually by the second week in december we are finished and it all looks lovely.Quite a few people in our village make a bit of show and it is lovely especaily driving through at night to see all these pretty little cottages lit up.Do many people round your way make a display of the christmas light, some people really go mad and collect for charitys over here in England but we are not in that league just try to make the place look festive and welcoming.xx

I've actually put up my Christmas tree even before November comes. Ha!ha!ha! I was so excited. I wanted to feel the Christmas spirit at home so early so I decorated the whole house so soon. I'm sad when I'm removing all the Christmas decors so soon so I decided to decorate early so I don't get sad anymore when I remove them. At least they have had enough exposures and have served the purpose for quite long.

Hey Jane! Happy Thanksgiving! I haven't decided if I'm going to
put my tree up yet. I would have to buy so many new ornaments
for it because I had thrown out all the glass ornaments that
I had because of my cats. I have a 6/12 foot artificial tree
and I don't know if I could afford to get enough ornaments
and lights to fill enough of it up. I will have to decide
in the next week or so if I am going to put it up or not.
It's up to my boyfriend. If we have gotten the apartment
finished by then maybe we will consider putting the tree up.
