From your mouth to Gods ears. lol I have this thing where if I cook I really am not that into eating. I am a good cook (if I say so myself)lol. Its just that by the time its done I have picked so much that I am full. lol Well what can I do someone has to try it. LOL dl

In the United States we celebrate on the last or fourth Thursday of the month in November the discovering of America if you will. THere's more to it however. Its basically when the pilgrims that came from England made their peace with the indians that were already here. WHen this happened they all celebrated by coming together as a community and each side brought forth dishes that were native to them. The indians brought corn and turkey, etc. The Pilgrims shared theirs with them. It is a nice idea. I just think that if you ask a bunch of younger American citizens they will have the wrong idea. People have taken over our school systems with their bigotry and single sided ideas. We arent even allowed to say indian or sing the indian song in schools anymore. THey cant make santa claus. By people forcing their beliefs on innocent children, I am afraid that the next generation will just be celebrating just because. I hope not. YOU Dont realize how lucky you are not to live here sometimes. I hope the information help. Please forgive my rantings. I just hate it when I had so much fun learning and coloring about the indians and thanksgiving when I was a kid. THey wonder why most children like videos so much. What else is there?

I cannot understand this attitude towards the Indian songs and heritage,why is it such a threat to them how sad.
