Black Friday - is it worth getting killed over?

I read that story, it's just awful. The article I read said that shoppers were arguing when told to leave without shopping so that the police could do what they needed to do. Just awful that a family will be without their son/father/brother this year because people are so selfish & thoughtless.

Because those people are a bunch of animals. I hope when the police look over the store's videos they find out which people were involved and arrest they all. All this just to buy something on sale, shame on them all.

That's really scary and sad. Maybe now that things like that happened, more people will be discouraged to shop during those times. I really hope that no similar event will take place in the future. Maybe there should be a crowd control team or something like that.

thank goodness,we do not have that problem here.it may all be due to incresing unemployment.or it may also be due to economics which seems to affect everyone.

They don't care about anybody but themselves, we live in a "ME" generation. You Tube, My Space, My Lot, Face Book, but alas nobody will do anything about it.

Black friday is ridulus. They need to do something about the violence thats taking place or stop having it. There is no sense in senseless acts of violence so thiongs r on sale so what. Do we need to hurt people to get savings. They need to get security there and open three doors and have security standing and watching as they come through the doors and make them walk. This is just stores trying trying to make a frenzy out of making money thats it. Ask yourself is it really worth all these people getting hurt?

Sounds more like freaky friday than black friday, but as far as I understand it has always been a dangerous day to shop. I have a story about a friend of mine that actually camped out one thanksgiving to get a big screen television. when the store opened she and her husband ran to the TV's just in time to get the last one. Her husband turned around and was punched in the face. The man that punched him, had also camped out, and claimed he had been there an hour before my friend so he deserved the TV. It turned into a fist fight. While the men were duking it out, she pushed the TV up front and bought it. I'm happy for her, but kind of sorry for the guy that camped out only to get a couple of black eyes for his trouble.

That is so sad. I cant believe people just trampled over him and didnt bother to stop to help him in any way. This is such a careless world we live in. I cant believe it I am still in shock!!!

I don't think Black friday is something people should kill over for. That was an awful thing that happened to that walmart employee. I have a friend that works at walmart and just the thought of him getting trampled over like that scares me. Black Friday is a really good thing for early birds but thats not something that people should make a big deal about over an innocent man. I think some people have lost the spirit of shopping. Especially when the holidays are starting, i hope these things don't continue to happen. It would be a shame to see so many people get hurt and not have the courtesy to help them after just running them over because there too busy trying to get something cheap. I think those kind of people should be ashamed of themselves for trying to treat others like that. What happened to "treat others the way you would want to be treated". I guess some people are meant to act this way because they have no heart and don't care. I think it is sickining to live that kind of life. Wouldn't anybody agree? The walmart guy was just working his shift and thats how people treat him. I hope he gets a raise for his work and several apologies.
