Scams horror stories.

I had bought referrals for one site which helped me reach payout quickly. I then requested payout. The site got attacked. Back up for couple of days. Then the owner went on holidays for a week. While gone for the week, the site went down. I had held some hope that the site would come back. But it is not. I should have been paid at the beginning of november.

The biggest complaint is the non payment from a PTCs. Here is where I take advantage of a non paying sites. Every one who is doing PTCs wants money. So I advertise a legit site on a non paying site (or otherwise known as scam sites). It does work because I have recruited approximately 20 referrals in the last 2 to 3 months.

I paid $15 at TurboBux for advertising and the site closed down, it was supposed to be run by an honest admin, one whom was closely associated with the group that runs PTCtalk.

I earned $42 on SlashMySearch (I was trying it out, despite the claims of it being a scam) and it turned out that it wouldn't let me request payment. It was stuck on, "You have to wait 2 months to request payment," even though I've been on there for 4 months! Eventually, SlashMySearch sent out an email that they were closing and that everyone on there needs to request payment. I tried again, and it still wouldn't let me. So, I was like, "Screw it, they are closing."

There is a lesson to be learned here: always trust people when they say a site is a scam.
