Yes I do stand up for myself. Anyone that knows me knows if they are going to say something tha bothers me or hurt me they will get an earful. But I'm the type that vents and is over. I think everyone should stand up to people that say or do things to hurt them because if they don't these people that are hurting peeps will keep doing it.

Do you ever like there's a time or place you can't speak your mind? I agree, you have to end this behavior is someone is really bothering you. Thanks for replying.

I usually stand up for myself in a verbal argument. If it is against my wife then of course I always loose but that in another storey! haha
In a physical argument I usually back down because I am frightened of my strength and what I can do to people if I loose my temper. I did it only once and nearly killed a man. It was terrible and I still have nightmares about it. I was actually enjoying myself! Phew! I try to forget that.
No, I must keep control of myself at all times and will walk away from a situation.

I try not to hit people, either. I'm a girl, but sometimes I like to hit people too. One fight I was screaming and very crazy. :( It's good you've learned to control yourself. I am very quick tempered and feel people try to get my goat all the time. Thanks for replying.

i always stand up for myself, in fact i kind of put up these borders where no one can break through if they don't know me. i stand up for my friends n family too all the time, i used to get picked on in elementary school, but come 8th grade, i gained confidence and i didn't allow anyone to bully me anymore.

I think that's very nice of you to stand up for others. :) I hate to see other people being bullied. I know what you mean. It's hard to let people in sometimes. Thanks for replying.

I don't stand up for myself nearly enough. It is something that I am working on.

Do you not stand up for yourself because you don't want to? or you can't? There's sometimes, it sucks, you can't say what you have to. Like at work. Thanks for replying.
