paypal ebay fees e cheque

I got a receipt for my payment to ebay today and as there were not enough funds to cover it in my account, or bank account it said that an echeque was in progress, what does that mean? When do I have to have the money in my account by? Does anyone know? I would really appreciate the help!

I didn't really get question clearly.Are you making the payment or you are receiving one from someone else...If you are receiving one,then the person who sent it must have done so try an echeck which has to be cleared before paypal makes it available for you to use,the clearance might take some 3 or more days depending on the issuing bank. Hope it helps...

*try=through... If you are the one making the payment,then paypal tried getting an echeck from you,and to the receiver it pretty same to what I posted earlier.
