hello all!
Filipino boxing champ Manny Pacquiao leaves today for Las Vegas for the Dream Match with Boxing Golden Boy Oscar dela Hoya on December 6, 2008. He has been training for quite some time in California with coach Freddie Roach.
But as the fight nears, I am getting scared for Manny. I know he is confident and is training hard, but this one is going to be a tough fight. I did a poll in my blog and majority voted that Manny will win, though some of them think that it will be draw because they say, both fighters are bought and when the decision is draw, then there will be a rematch and both fighters will get more money.
I dunno, I am not sure. Whether this happens or not, Manny can still get hurt. He had to increase his weight in order to match dela Hoya and so I think his energy will be lessened.
I still am praying for Manny to win and rooting for him as a Filipino. But sometimes I think this fight is too ambitious. Oh I still wish Manny would win.
what do you think? who will win???
good day and God bless you!

I'm worried for him too but i'm also confident. It's mixed feelings actually. Technically, he's never been knocked out eversince he became a superstar (..not counting his lost to a pinoy boxer) and there will be always be a first time. They both have good chin so it's really hard to predict who among Manny Pacquiao and Oscar dela Hoya will go down. But i'm rooting for Manny Pacquiao of course. If only Oscar dela Hoya knocked Steve Forbes out then i should worry more. Manny's energy will remain so don't worry about it too much. He's conditioned himself pretty well and 147lbs was his weight during the Pacquiao-Diaz fight so i guesss he is used to it by now.
