O. P. K.'s (Other Peoples Kids)  

I like most children, myklj999, including OPK's and MOK's. I enjoy them. I enjoy talking with them and learning from them. I just enjoy children.

Yes, I know the feeling.All little kids are drawn to me, and little girls like my long blonde hair, think I am cinderella or something. I also now have grandchildren and it is similar, I can have fun with them and then give them back when it is not fun anymore .My husband watchs them 2 days a week ( I started out doing it, but decided since my husband retired, it was his turn). Anyhow my husband is a better grandfather than he was a father, more patience, loving and so on. That is because there is no pressure!

But I can not take LARGE groups of little kids, they are like herds, too much noise!

I can understand that being the high point of your day, mykl. It would have been mine too. I adore kids. I just love being in there presents, experiencing the different way that look at life!

Hi myklj! Yes, I just adore O.P.K.'s! They are so the best
kind! I enjoy doing just what you described! Isn't that so
fun! I could talk to kids like that all day long! My motto
is "I love kids as long as I can give them back!" Some kids
are just so adorable and cute and funny. But, the rule is
the same, gotta be able to return them when I'm finished
having fun. If they start to scream, cry or anything like
that it's time to give them back to their rightful owners,
Oh, I mean parents! Isn't it sweet when you know that they
are looking at you and want you to look at them? As long as
I'm in the mood I will take a peak! But, only if I'm in the
mood! Well, I'm glad that you enjoyed your little "chat"
with the OPK!

It's been awhile since I had a moment like that. These moments are rare and to be treasured. Thanks for the reminder.

i do not echo your sentiments.i do fool around when i am with my kids.but i am also quite of a disciplinarian,when it comes to my kids.i do not want them to grow up like hooligans.i do not like o.p.ks as i donot have the patience to deal with o.p.k's.

Other peoples kids often do things like that, its good as you say you can have fun without the types of being a parent.

Children are the most interesting of the human race. They never fail to do or say something that baffles the best of us & they love to ask questions. I am sure its to keep us adults on our toes..So yes i like all childen. Even the bad behaved ones that people turn their nose up at in stores..met any them Mr M ?

Yes I do like OPK's very much and very happy they remain OPK's. I get to see (usually) the part of them. The days of dealing with all problems of MOK's (My Own Kids) is long gone now I just enjoy the pleasure of OPKs.

Oh Hell Yes, I get along great with kids, they seem to take a liking to me...little kids and elderly folks. But, my diaper days are well over now & I'm happy to play around with the little ones. I think it speaks volumes when kids, elderly people & animals take a likimg to you...it seems that they can sense the kind of person that you are and are not so quick to judge as people in our generation! I never trust anyone who a dog seems to have a bad feeling about, or people that hate animals..there is something seriosly wrong with those folks!
