Being An Employer He should have given us the Salaries before the due date??

I have never had a problem with my salary.

That has happened at my job as well, but then it was a mistake. They didn't mean for it to happen that way. Well, here is what they have learned never live pay check to pay check. I learned that a few years ago and was a lesson I took to heart. So next year they will have there money way before festival. That was not right but that is how they worked it. Are they from your country or from other country as maybe they don't know about festival or don't care. As they don't celibrate it. YOur friend onlydia.. Have a nice day my friend

No, I don't think its right for your employer not to give you th salary early, I don't know whats your customs is like but if I were you I will complain to the salaries department.

i have some colleagues who depend on the salary,that they look forward to the beginning of the month. but i donot know,it might be some psychology,that they give the salary by 2nd or 3rd of the month.

well this so sad that the school principal did not gave you salary on eid festival.
as you and me that today is 8/12/08 from my point of view that in all institute the salaries are realsed at 05/12/08 while it is banks or ngo's or school,colleges,or universities or more institute are realsed there salaries and they are so happy to enjoy the EID the festival these are those events that the family members are together with each other.
well some institute are not given the salary due to some reasons. which you and me did"nt known

I guess the salary should have been given within last day of last month. Is not it? Or you get salary usually on the first week. In festivals money is needed, no doubt. Do you work as a teacher? what subject do you teach?

Despite everything it is not pay day until the 10th of the month you say. So no there is no reason to pay people before that date as far as I am concerned and more so if they do not have the money. You say elsewhere that is when the get the money in from the students fees so possible the school simply did not have enough money.

Yes there might be some people who are very poor or do not have a lot of money, so they struggle from month to month. Without getting paid early they cannot buy new clothes, shoes etc to celebrate the Eid festival. However the simple fact is that if people cannot normally manage to save anything from their monthly pay, nothing is going to change that. In fact they will be worse off because if they outlay money on new clothes, shoes etc which has not been budgeted for, they will not have enough money to survive the month on their salary that is left.

I accept that many people in your country are very poor but they still have to manage on their income. Spending what they cannot afford means that they and their family will possibly not have enough money to pay for food to eat for quite some days in the coming month. What is more important I wonder, putting food on the table for their family or having a complete new outfit for a festival?

I hope that you enjoy the Eid festival and I am sure that everyone who can attend will enjoy it, with or without new clothes.

We often think that others understand the situation the same way that we do, but some people, like your employer, doesn't care.He's not so sociallly-orientaded like you.He doesn't go to bed thinking:"Oh, I didn't pay them, what will they do without their salaries?" Hi gohar, my husband's company pay the worker's salary on 25th of the month, but if the date placed on saturday or sunday, they will pay it by friday. So you are a teacher, that's cool. I've been thinking when my kids grow older and if I have the money, I want to pursue my master degree so I could become a teacher too.
