Is slavery abolished or no?  

no it's not abolished. maybe in the light of day things appear to be fine, their are many, many shadows and back alleys. There are a lot of dodgy things going on that we'll never know about and some like in this instance, will be exposed

Their are ALOT of evil people out their. Look at that guy from austria I think it was, that locked his daughter up and had babies with her. It was a big story but God their are evil people out their and sometimes it's our ignorance (in a kind sence of the word) that protects us from going crazy

It don't surprise me what these countries do, I think it is disgusting, the law should really put a stop to all this, its inhuman.

No it is not. It says in the Bible in Revelation about selling the bodies and souls of men, and that proves that slavery will still exist to the end. They may have abolished slavery based on race and religion, such as when they got rid of slavery in America because the slaves were brought over from Africa and were of the Negro branch of the human race or when they abolished slaves according to religion like when they went after the Nazis for all the Jews forced to work in the concentration camps or factories, but there were those indentured servants which is an euphemism for slavery when one had to work off one's passage that no one cared about because it seemed not to be slavery when the people are of your same ethnic, i.e. 'race' as you are. That is what went on in Europe, and it was not abolished, it just died out and we still have traces of it in the apprentice system where a tradesman pays the school or the parents to have the boy learn a trade.
But at least that was temporary. Those women had no help of making money that they could keep and were forever in debt to their owners.

There is nothing more cruel than the human animal. Those that kept these poor women in the dog cages should have to live in the same way for a year. it is astonishing that his kind of things goes on. It is so much worse because it happens to children too. As long as men are willing to pay for such things it will keep going on. I think that as the economy of the world gets worse so will such crimes. Revelations in the bible tells us that the heart of man will turn against his children and the hearts of children will turn against his parents. I think this is just the start.

Hi ronaldinu, Apparently slavery is not abolished in every country, or it is easier to get away with such things in some countries than in others. It is a very sadthing to see happening in the twenty-first century when we have progressed so far in other ways. Blessings.

Slavery exists still today, yes even in the United States. Usually illegal immigrants supposedly working off their passage, of course they never do, stuck on farms and illegal brothels. Slavery is almost common still in isolated areas of Africa. Slavery has always been a problem, not just in the much publicized pre-civil war era of the United States. West coast indians in North America had slaves before the Euopean invasion. Middle Eastern countries had African slaves a thousand years before America exploited that same supply.

Slavery is abolished in law,but it is still exist in the real world.That's not surprise to me.

legally it may be abolished but the law has never stopped people from doing illegal activities throughout time, so slavery would not be any different either.

slavery was already abolish long time ago but there are times that people are getting involve w/ this situation epsecially when they in a condition that makes them do such thing. and I think all of this abuses are part of a crime that people comit if u think u were being abuse then do something do not let ur self intrap by this kind of abussive doings.
