Friend and Best Friend. What's the difference?  |

 Do you really think that there is a kind of term best friend. Why, because he/she could help you with much more than other friends did because they couldn't. How one of friends is becoming best, if they all are the best. What? You start to spend with one friend more time than with the other one and he/she becomes best. What if everything changes, and you start to spend more time with another friend which is not your best friend, would he/she become your best friend? What if you need help and your best friend just can't help you, and the other friend helps you and several times. He/she will also become your best friend and so on. I can't get it...

Although I do have a best friend where that was the case...I also have a best friend that I met through my husbands job that I could hardly stand at first and then only through slightly forced situations we spent time together and now are great friends. | |

3.  v4vikas (1439) | 1 year ago | Yes i think that there is a big difference between friend and Best friend. A friend is someone we just have a good talk, not always. Friend can be referred to any person whom we talk well, and quite very well. We dont share much with the friends, where as a best friend is like someone from us, we tell him everything what matters us. I have noticed this that with best friends we are very open in talk, on any topic. There is no boundry.

7.  mimico (3257) | 1 year ago |  No I don't think having a real best friend is conditional such that if that person isn't around for a long time then he or she will lose the best friend status to another person. It's a permanent thing in my opinion which is why I never had a best friend. I have some good friends who I can trust, but ultimately, I think I just need to take care of myself first. And if I need help then I can always run to my family and a handful of my cousins and uncles.

Most of my friends are like people i just can get along with. Some i stay in contact with some the contact fades away in time. I have a co-worker who is a friend. I know though after i leave this job we may never talk again. THerefore she was just a friend.
