Movies or films?

I think it is up to people'preference.Just like my classmates,someone like film.someone like movie,even.someone like both.

i like movie to be called a movie.....film its kind a tongue twister....not much but i think out of the two the one which requires less effort is movie......and also film sound a kind of desi....or like i should put it as "ffilim" what do u say...gx?????
also "piccharr" is kind of filim ....

I always call them films.

back when silent films were launched, they were referred to as Movies, short for moving pictures.

when they developed films with sound, they were called Talkies.

so to me, a Movie is a silent film.


I just call them films.
