Digital Cameras For Video Quality

You can't have "cheapest" if you also want "best". If your principle need is for video, then even a cheap video camera is going to be a better choice than most still cameras that can also do video.

That said, if I assume that a Nikon D90 slr is out of your price range, look at any Canon or Panasonic compact. Your video will be OK, but for good sound, you will need an external mike, preferably a directional stereo microphone. I do not know of any camera designed for taking photos that has the facility to accept input from a mike of any kind. You may be better off recording separately, and mixing sound and image after (not an easy task).

Which takes us back to the first proposition: if you want photos, get a still camera; if you want movies, buy a video camera.

You can find some good quality camera from Sony but they may be costly you can try canon or even kodak for lower range and also having good in quality
