I am a very big fan of the old TV show Combat, and Sergeant Saunders (Vic Morrow) has a Tommy gun. I would really love to have one, but I think they're illegal because they're automatic (in this state at least.) I was wondering if there is a semi-automatic version that looks the same, but would be legal (hopefully). I know Thompson makes a lot of different guns, but I want one that would be exactly like Saunders' gun, except not fully automatic.

It is sad the owning a the Thompson submachine gun is illegal to own just because it is an automatic firearm. The Tommy gun is a lovely gun and would make a great collectors item for anyone collection, and even a great personal protection weapon for home defense.
