Ewe, I just licked the TV remote control!

I started a topic about licking 9 volt batteries a long time ago but I just licked the tv remote control and my tongue didn't get shocked! lol, no, I knew I wouldn't get shocked, I was feeding my daughter French Toast with syrup on it and some syrup dripped onto the remote control. I didn't have anything to wipe it off with and before I knew it, my tongue was slithering up and down in between the crack of 2 buttons!

I can't believe I just did that, it's got to be the nastiest most germy thing in the house and I licked it! My mouth was clean but that remote has been around for a while...

Have you ever dripped food on something that you shouldn't have and licked it off? I didn't put this in the sex discussion area so everyone be forewarned, answers may get more nasty than my remote control.

That's positively icky, to be frank, oracle. I simply won't be licking ANYTHING which isn't meant to be eaten. Would you have done that if the syrup had dropped on to the floor too? I think you have a little less control upon your brain or your taste buds or something. Perhaps you get so irresistibly drawn to food that you'll go for it regardless of the hygiene. But let's just say it won't be harming you in any way, perhaps you've got a good resistance. But at least be considerate to your inmates too. They're really going to have a tough time bringing themselves to use that remote.

ROTFLMAO! Thanks for the constructive frankness! lol! I do eat food that falls on the floor too! In fact my daughter dropped a bunch of almonds on the floor (they aren't cheap either), my husband was going to throw them away, I told him to pop them into my mouth while I fed the baby a bottle.

Eating off of the kitchen floor is probably the nastiest at my house now since I haven't washed it in a week. I won't eat anything that falls near the sink floor or toilet coz my husband is a messy peerer and dish washer.

Yeah he does, that's why I eat crap that falls on the floor. He's always yelling at our 2 year old for throwing the food off the plate and onto the floor. He complains about all the waste so now he can't! lol!
