When was the last time you laughed at an inappropriate moment?

I don't remember the very last time. But I do have one to share.
It happened a very long time ago at my grandfather's funeral.
I know that sounds bad but when we were on the way to the cemetery my cousin asked us about the ashes to ashes thing.
She had never been to a funeral befor but my sister and I had been to many.
We had never heard it said anywhere but TV and told her so.
Well we got there and what was the first thing out of the minister's mouth.
"Ashes to ashes, dust to dust".
Maybe it was all the stress but we just all looked at each other and had to try really hard not to laugh.

One time I was watching one of those television shows that has a bunch of video clips of amazing things like car accidents and stuff. One of the clips that I saw was of a military band playing in a field for some type of ceremony and there were sky divers who were supposed to land int he field nearby, but one of the skydivers lost control and plowed into the marching band. The guy took out the entire row of tuba players.

I felt really bad because a few of the guys got hurt but I couldn't stop laughing when I saw that clip. Even when I think about it now I start to laugh.

I also start laughing a lot when I'm reading funny books, so sometimes I'll be sitting in the library reading and I'll start laughing. Other people give me funny looks, but I don't really care because I'm enjoying myself.

I am basically a happy person and I enjoy having a good laugh most of the time. But of course laughing should be done at the right time and place. I understand though that sometimes we do can't help but laugh even at an inappropriate moment as what happened to you and your son in your church. I did experienced so many of such inappropriate moment of laughing but the most memorable was when I and my hubby were rendering a special number in our church worship service. Imagine that, it was supposed to be a solemn kind of presentation but I could not help by laugh when I remembered the funny experiences we had during the time we were rehearsing the song. It was really funny so when we started singing and it was the time of my hubby to sing his part, I remembered the funny inside story and I laughed but good thing, I was able to control immediately. When we finished the song, I apologized to the congregation and explained why I laughed and they all did laugh as well. I can't detail here the story. My husband might get angry with me. Ha!ha!ha!

Oh My Gosh does that bring back memories.
I was justan adloescent girl sitting in church one Sunday morning with the preachers daughter of all things...gets me laughing just thinking about it...
All of a sudden one of us burped a big belly busting burp and my Lord the whole church got silent. I thought what am I suppose to do now..do I stand up and say excuse me or what. Well the only thing two silly girls ca do is start laughung and laugh we did. We ended up having everyone in the church laughing including the preacher who could nor finish his sermon that day.
To this day we talk about the day I burped and caused the church to dismiss early...lol

Last Sunday in church the preacher's wife, who is also a personal friend of mine, wrote me a note on the church bulletin and passed it to me. It was an invitation for that evening so I nodded "yes" vigorously and smiled. Her 13 year old old daughter in all seriousness said "no passing notes in class".... . I cracked up laughing!

one this, I just can't remember when. I guess this means even when you make a fool of yourself you'll get over it if you live long enough.

Oh, I do it all the time. Regretfully, it happened also at my MIL's funeral.(Yes, she who took the furniture)

We were all singing 'How Great Thou art' and when the phrase was sang "And the birds sing sweetly in the trees" the organist pressed something and a plastic bird started saying 'cuckoo, cuckoo,'

It was so unexpected - my daughter and myself just clutched each other and laughed so hard that tears rolled down our faces. I expect that people thought that we were grieving. God forgive us. Blessings

This made me feel like the worst Human Being in the World.
There was this ugly looking pariah dog walking accross the crowded street. I was looking at him, strangely walking accross the street, from the bus stop where i was waiting for my ride home.
A motorcyclist, who was riding at a high speed, did not see the dog and dashed him. The front tire of the motorbike hit the dog right in between his eyes and a loud craking sound filled the air.
It all happened so suddenly and it was so unexpected that i gave a single burst of laughter; half with fright and half with the sheer audacity of the accident.
The entire crowd turned to look at me; the most embarassing moment in my life!(Being a dog lover, i broke into sobs later, further making myself look like a priced baffoon)

LOL! I always laugh at the inappropriate moment. I love to laugh and if I feel like laughing then I forget whether it is an appropriate moment or an inappropriate moment. Sometimes, I pay the price also for laughing at the wrong moment. Once in my school days, I laughed when the School Principal was teaching and he caught me laughing and I was given the marching orders to leave the class.
