 Abortion for a female can be a very traumatic experience and then there are lot of factors to be taken in to consideration.
1) Moral: Is it moral for u to kill a life?
2) Religious: None of the religion i know of let u abort.
3) society: like in India there has been large scale abortions of female fetus. it has led ot high distortion in male female ratio..in some states there r only 827 females per 1000 males. It has left many males with no females to marry and if this continue rapes and kidnapping of girls would be very common and if not then it would lead to increase in homosexuality.
4) Victims of rapes: should it be allowed to them?
5) underage pregnancy: the girls of 15 or less can easily be lured in to sex by some men, when they dont even know what they r getting in to... and they r too young to give birth or take care of them. shd they be allowed to abort?
so r u for or against abortion in all situations or shd it be allowed in some situations?

What I mean is the fertilized egg must not yet form a small baby. Since if that will form into a baby, if you will abort it then, that would be killing already. As 1 of the 10 commandments says that not to kill someone.

To the whom says that abortion should be not allowed, i suggest to try to better know the orphans lifestyle, as well as the street child lifestyle, and ask themselves if is more unhuman the abortion or condemn unwanted childs to have a life like that...

Society should not dictate what another person does.
If a person doesn't want an abortion, then don't have one. if a persodoes, then she should be allowed that choice.
I don't believe life is sacred, rather the quality of life is sacred. Why have a child you cannot take care of? The child suffers.
I don't think abortions should be used as a method of birth control, I think there are plenty of ways to prevent becoming pregnant and they should be used first. If they fail, then have the abortion if that's what the person wants, but that is MY morality and cannot subject anyone else to think or act that way.
Let me ask you a question now: if it's 'immoral' or against religions, society to kill a fetus, why is it moral and within the bounds of religion and society to have the death penalty? If life is so sacred to them, then it should include all life, not to pick and choose.

And before doing something she might regret, it should be thought over, discussed with sensitive and concern people many times. There are instances that some couple would have to painfully choose to sacrifice a child to abortion to save a woman's life. It's case to case basis.

My beliefs wan when it comes to countries like Africa and so on where the child is born and then left on the streets anyways to die or suffer for years and have a slow death. Both are cruel to the child and heartbreaking. Children are precious and gifts from God, I cannot see them hurting or starving or dying. It really is heartbreaking. I cannot say in this situation what is right and what is wrong.

6.  lingli_78 (10195) | 1 year ago |  i never agree in abortion and i don't support it as well as i also consider it as killing an innocent life... but again, it is up to the individuals to make the decision whether they want to keep or abort the child... i understand that some people abort because they have no choice at all and circumstances force them to do it... but i personally will never do it... i prefer to wait and not have a child first if i am not ready... take care and have a nice day...

I think abortion should only be done in rare cases like for underage pregnancy and other cases in which abortion solves the problem. But not because if any one dont want a baby at that time. There should be legal laws protecting abortion and i think there is legal law for abortion in some countries i dont know about all the countries, but what i heard is that its not allowed in some countries. thank you

What about the kids already in the system? I am a juvenile officer and I deal a LOT with foster kids. Kids that have been bounced from home to home, state to state and have no real family other than their gang members on the street. I'd start worrying about trying to save those kids before I start crying over some aborted zef.

if you had a 12 year old daughter, and she was repeatedly gang raped by several convicts escaped from Death row (murderers, serial killers, etc) would you encourage her to keep the kid and help her raise it? Also, as abonus, let's say she's now also HIV positive, would you encourage bringing a kid with AIDS into the world?
I would just say go for abortion and focus on getting your mind back together, but I'm curious about your Christian approach. Cheers:D | |

to see one performed, including a partial
birth abortion. That would change your
outlook - believe me.
There must be more emphasis on birth control. People
shouldn't be so careless and or lazy about using
birth control - and of course I am speaking of
Americans. The infant is a life - an innocent
baby - "not" a fetus. That is terminology that the
medical community came up with years ago, to make the
little life less significant sounding.
When abortion moves in - in its fullest measure, and
is accepted by society, the next move is for
euthanasia{ending the life of the elderly - mentally
challenged, etc}where does this end, and who decides?
That was HITLER'S plan as well back near the time
of WW2.
The death penalty is a totally different situation.
Those people have murdered someone, and are paying the
price that the law says they must pay. If they don't
want to die, then "don't kill someone else." (or plead
insanity, and hope a hot shot lawyer is good enough
to get you out of it.)
We're in a generation where there's no challenges
being offered to be modest, and decent any more.
People live like animals (a lot of them do, anyway),
and after all - isn't that what they've been taught for
many years - that they're a part of the evolutionary
animal kingdom? No wonder people kill with no
conscience, have no respect, and think nothing of using
abortion as a form of birth control - that is sick.
