alice for tweens or teens?

I actually still think it's a great book! (Ageless, the writing was incredible) Did you ever read "Through the Looking-glass and What Alice Found There", although the sequel to Alice In Wonderland it was different, used mirrors, frequent changes in time and spatial directions. Loved both books. Regards

ya its a good story, do you know that there are two version of the same story. one is the children version and the other is more of an adult version. personally i like the adult version "through the looking glass" of the book. both are good but if i had kids i would read them the children one and then give them the other one when their older.

For some reason I always liked this story. Beyond it being set in a fantasy land for little kids it has a lot of interesting psychological atributes to it. The dude that wrote this story was a professor, and he based a lot of the characters in the story off of people he actually knew and worked with. I think Johnny Depp did a movie about the guy, I never saw it.
I just like the phrases that are said in the story, like," do you mean what you say, or do you say what you mean?" And," Jam yesterday and jam tomarrow but never jam today." "But there must be jam today!" Eventually, right?! I like the phrases cause to me they're kinda like riddles that make me take a step back and think, hey now!!

I read the book for the first time when I was 10. I had seen the Disney movie many, many time and loved it, but I was a little mixed up by the differnces between the two.
When I was 12 or so, I read it again, and I wondered how someone could come up with a story like that- the author must have had a very interesting imagination.

I love that book, it is wonderful. Everynight my mother reads me the final part.
