Fudge, it is called.

Well, there's only 12 in a box and I got two boxes a week ago today, so I don't think it's gonna make me puke or anything. That's only an average of like 3 1/2 cookies a day roughly.

Every time I see a rainbow I look around to see if God is somewhere near holding a giant prism for the sun to shine through.

I don't have any salt handy, so I took it with the cup of Tomato soup I was drinking.

I'm not sure if that helped or hindered my understanding; there are so many other uses of the rainbow flag there that now I am thoroughly confused...but thanks for trying.

I guess it depends on what's in the soup? Just salt?? Hmmmm

It seems that the flag mainly symbolizes diversity (from what I read which was only the first paragraph, LOL). I'll have to read the whole thing to see if I can get more confused, too. I'll also look for more reputable sources than Wiki. My instructors always say we shouldn't use it alone since it's written by random people.

There is plenty of salt in that soup myk!!! The only way hubby will be getting tomato soup anytime soon is if I figure out how to make it from scratch due to the sodium content of the premade soups.

Sorry, though, no ideas about the rainbows. Maybe it has something to do with Judy Garland and the Wizard of Oz.

Thinking biblically, God set the rainbow over the earth after using rain to flush all of the sin of the earth away.
It should be noted, that the rainbow is the symbol of a covenant God made with Himself toward mankind. And if you look down on a rainbow from above, the bow is actually a circle or ring. We use rings today as symbols in marriage to indicate a never ending status of marriage. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to stop divorce very much...

Yep - the rainbow was a covenant and meant as a promise to never again bring destruction upon the earth like that of the global flood.

I like music, Kling. And, I like powerful voices like those mentioned as well as Ethel Merman's (ancient history for some).

Speaking of Raz - see comment I left on her profile - an all-time favorite of mine. BTW - she can also still sing, but because she was 15 when she sang it back then & when she sings it now, her voice has changed, but she can still hit those high notes.

That was an oldie!! Haven't heard that in a long time. There was a singer back in the late 60s or early 70s, too, who could hit notes no one else could. She died only a few years after making her mark. She had a wicked vocal range. For the life of me, I can't think of her name, but I know the country singer Mindy McCready's name reminds me of her. The Ms, I think.

I'm thinking of a song titled "Loving You." I cannot remember her name off-hand, but she had her start as the singer for a no-hit group called The Rotary Connection. Then she sang that song I mentioned. She died of either throat or lung cancer.

I remembered her name as I drove down the highway to my friend's house - I'm on his laptop right now. I can never remember titles or artists unless I get a trigger - don't know what the trigger was in the car, but it came to me and then the song title reminded me as well. Yep, she's the one. She could hit notes that would make dogs come running!! LOL

Yeah - that's her. Also, that's one song that if you can sing it, if you have a glass of wine in your hand, you might just find youself wearing the wine instead of drinking it.

BTW - this is Rosie - 42 years later. Even though her voice changed some, she can still hit those high notes without any sign of struggling.
