Christmas Cookies!  

Do you bake Christmas cookies? This year I baked some of the basic sugar cookie dough ones -- the kind you roll out and cut shapes out of. I went to my daughter's house and baked them with her and her best friend since way-back. This girl -- well, woman-- has been her best buddy since junior high school and lived with us for a year. So she is kind of like another daughter to me. Her 13 year old daughter came too and we had so much fun! We got a lot of giggles because for the first batch, I had not used enough flour to roll the dough out on. The shapes stuck and the 13 year old and I couldn't recognize our shapes. We decorated them like anything we wanted to and just had a blast!
