Do you have plans for the New Year celebration? |
|
My family plans to go out of town this dec. 31 and usher in the New year with an amazing fireworks display on a beach in a nearby tourist destination. We did this last year and the thought of celebrating on a beach again was just exhilarating that we had plans to do it again this year.
How about you? Where and with whom do you plan to celebrate New Year? Wishing you well my friends!

1. Opal26 (9678) | 12 months ago | Hey baruchaba! Now that sounds like my idea of a perfect New Years celebration! I sure would be up for that around now! I was so excited when we got our first snowfall, until we got the second! Now I'm ready for the summer! It has gotten cold and snowy and icy so the thought of a beach is really inviting! But, sadly I will be staying home and indoors for New Years! It's a holiday that I really don't like. I get kind of sad for some reason and then apprehesive of what might happen in the year to come! It's that "Oh, no now what?" feeling! So, I will be at home with my boyfriend and I think it will just be the two of us as far as it goes right now and that's just fine with me! Enjoy your beach celebration! Happy New Year to you and your family!

baruchaba (855) | 12 months ago | Hi Opal26. I guess what matters is that you are with your special someone this New Year. Just wanna encourage you to be more hopeful of the things to come. I know the present situation worldwide is not as encouraging, but there are still a lot of things we could positively look forward to if we just keep the faith. Happy New Year!

2. dolce_vita78 (4454) | 12 months ago | Hi there baruchaba!
I will be spending the New Year's Eve with my family at home. We have plans of visiting our other relatives on New Year's Day. It will indeed be a great celebration! There will be a lot of food that's for sure. LOL! Well, there is really nothing better than to welcome the New Year with the people we love and care for. Happy New Year to you and your family!

4. pulangpluma (203) | 11 months ago | Hi Baruchaba,
We had an "Eat-all-you-can" dinner at a restaurant on top of a building so we can watch the fireworks with the family of course and some friends. This is the first time we celebrated outside as we often celebrate it at home. Then when we got home, we had a 2nd batch of dinner and sang karaoke till my throat crackle like a firecracker:) Happy New year!

baruchaba (855) | 11 months ago | hmm, an 'eat-all-you-can' dinner on top of a building while gazing at a fireworks display really looks like a swell treat. I would consider having that kind of ambiance this coming new year. Have a great week my friend!
