Are any of you Mylotters fond of Indian classical Music?

Hello friends,
i am very fond of Indian classical music and especially Hindustani classical.I used to play the sitar many years back but had to give it up due to physical problems and also time constraints. I have heard almost all the great musicians of our time both in the vocal and instrumental genre and have attended live perfomances of these great persons like Pandit Ravi Shankar, Pandit Jasraj, Pandit Bhimsen Joshi, Ustad Fariddudin Dagar, Ustad Bismillah Khan, Pandit Hari Prasad Chaurasia, Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma, Ustad Ali Akbar Khan, Ustad Allah Rakha, Ustad Zakir Hussain,to name a few. I nowadays confine myself to only listening on the radio or cassettes and cd`s. How about you? Do you Like the Hindustani or Carnatic style? I am very interested to know as nowadays more and more youngsters prefer film songs or pop music to classical music.
