I tore down that wall, baby!!

A mound of laundry that my boys brought of from their clothes. It took two days to complete. By time I was finished I told the boys if they ever waited that long again I would toss their clothes out. Lol...They didn't believe me. But Haven't tried it either.
I also had the daunting task of doing all the packing for a family of five. I woud try to get rid of something, only for my kids to try and grab it up and bring it with us. It was like a game of cat and mouse.

This one time, at band camp, I got camel poo on my shoe and I went into our cabin and fell into the bed with my clothes and shoes on! I was so tired! Afer a while, my band camp colleagues who shared the cabin with me started to complain about the smell of the camel poo on my shoe. They demanded that I remove my shoe!! But I was just too tired to get up and do it, so I lay there, dreading having to do it.

I kept putting it off. Even after the flies started buzzing, I put it off.
Even when my cabin mates yelled at me, I put it off.

I lay there for hours, stinking up the place, and then I finally regained my strength and removed the shoes and placed them outside the door, then returned to my bed. Whew!! I was so relieved to have done it!!

Yah Faith.
I have only been putting off doing certain things, because of ONE Mr Piggy.
for example my old sewing room has now become a store room for all the crap he has bought at garage sales.
Like Lounge Suites, floor tiles, you name it, it is in there.
By the time I am able to enter the room again and find my fabric's the fabric will most likely fall apart from old age.

The room where this computer is in has so much stuff..toys, books,sewing machine and fabrics, quilting stuff to make all my grandkids a quilt..finished almost 2 so far, scapbooking stuff, supplies for gifts/ for xmas, photos for my 5 children and their never ending photo albums i'm fixing for them and my collectable Beatles stuff..please don't make me move now..lol..

Hi faith! Good girl! Nice going! Well, you've heard me talk
about the re-decorating and cleaning out of my little 3 room
apartment that I have lived in for 28 years. Well, for some
reason I just kept looking at all the stuff that needed doing
and was getting nowhere fast! So my bf/roomate got pissed off
and started taking charge. In other words, he started doing
stuff so that I would get the hint which I did! So then I
was able to get the start that I needed! Now it has gotten
almost done and I am still working on it a little at a time
so it isn't as overwhelming!

The most daunting thing that I have faced coming to manual labor would be with our house. When we first got it all I can say is I was not impressed. It was overran with junk and garbage and in fact took 2 months to clean up and then a month to tear the inside down to studs and another month to redo all the dry wall and painting. We also had to redo all the electrical wiring and plumbing. Yep I could build a house if we had too. LOL! We had to get it done as we had 6 kids with one on the way. Not fun but we did it.

The next time was because of a fire and they said the house was a total loss. We got in here and cleaned it up and started rebuilding the upstairs. Most of the damage was there. Downstairs ceilings and all had to come down from the water damage. To say the least it wasn't fun. We had no insurance but we did it!

Similar situation to yours. My old apartment, before I got married. It was a 2 story townhouse and moving was such a big job. I was on my own- well, luckily I was enagged to my hubby so he helped me move. But we went out with some friends from work the night before and we were both totally hung over. That move was the worst! We felt lousy and it was a HUGE job!

I think cleaning the house is one chore I really hate tackling, especially if it's something I haven't done in a few days, and it's snowballed.

Gald to hear that you got it done. I think my biggest wall was when we moved to the house we are in now. It took forever to unpack and get the house in order, heck, we still aren't truly done and we've been here since Oct. 2007.

desperate to do it but was afraid i would not get another job. the wife supported my decission and it was the best thing i have done for my health and my family!
