My godson's mother always gets gifts for my husband and I from our godchildren. My godson is ten, now for ten years, my husband has received the same gift of Stetson. He actually has a supply of it. He appreciates it, but it is always the same.

lol, yes. Be happy that your husband can make use of that gift.

I receive the same gift from a friend in another country year for year, its a calendar but its not really something I look forward to having. So I politely thank him for it and then it goes unnoticed for the rest of the year.

I have not received the same gift over and over, but I have gotten gifts along the same theme for a few years in a row before. I used to collect 2 different kinds of Knick-knacks. Castles and pigs. I had a friend who gave me those things for every holiday or birthday for awhile.
