what is thank you for you?

Yes it is important to say thank you. It is even more important to mean it when you say it.

it is really a good word which is to be used in most of the times,i had an incident related to this in my 2nd standard:i was so naughty in my school days and i was a studious girl too,but never say sorry and thank you,in those days,my school has strict rules to say sorry and thank you,but i dont.once i didnt bring my pencil and my maam scolded,i got a pencil from my friend and returned it without any thanks,so my madam was in frustration and scolded me in front of all,and brought to the principal or father,and i got a nice explanation for thank you:thanks must be said from your heart and not only in your words,or else none will help you,he said and then i used to say thank you from my heart and it must be said so friends...

Your post do have some sum and substance in it. Thank you is not an easy word to describe or for that matter to understand. Merely saying 'Thank you' to anybody, without any kind of emotions infused in it, does not serve any purpose. Saying 'Thank you' is a kind of reciprocal treatment, for the favours done to us by anybody. If you say 'Thank You' to anyone for his favours or any gesture like favours, it means that you are 'acknowledging' the same and conveying your gratitude for it. I do not forget to say 'Thank you' to the person, irrespective of his/her relations with me or his/her status, whenever I find that the person has helped me in one way or the other. Saying 'Thank you' is my immediate reciprocal gesture to him/her and I remember his/her favours to me and try to repay/return the same, as soon as any occasion arises.

thank you for me is appreciating one person who help me and make better of my work. i can say to my enemies sorry and thank you because you see all the bad thing of me and i can really appreciate it.
