chocolate and headaches update | | Well folks it seems after doing some serious digging on a few of the medical sites that the conclusion is a resounding YES - Maybe!!!! LOL!! On Web Md they seem to feel that because chocolate contains caffeine mixed with medications it could cause a small twinge in your head to become a thousand piece marching band in your head with nothing but drums!! A major migraine. I also found out that they are no longer giving out standard pain medications like any drugs with Codeine in them like Lortab, Percocet Oral, Vicodin Oral. They have found that these drugs can cause even a more serious "rebound" headache. Meaning that the headache may seem to go away for a few hours but once the medication wears off the headache comes back even worse than it was before. All Web MD offered as a solution was reducing stress, exercise, keep a regular routine(eating our meals at the same time every day that kind of thing), stop bad habits like smoking, ect..
Bottom line I guess is everything we like can cause headaches, lol.
