Not only can you edit your pictures as you take them, you have no expenses for developing the film. You can upload them to your computer and save them in a file or share them instantly with family and friends. If you need a hard copy of your photo you can print it out yourself.

I like taking pictures, and I don't care what kind of medium I use; but I do like the immediacy of the digital medium, and I am a lot more skillful in the digital darkroom than I ever was in the wet darkroom.
Shooting film for me was 80% fast negative colour media, with a combination of polaroid, mono and positive making up the rest.
I started oiut with B&W film in the 50s but by 1960 I had settled into colour slides, using Kodak and Perutz films, eventually making Agfa 50 ASA (ISO) my standard emulsion.
Today I am a digital-only photographer, shooting mainly wildlife, nature, events and fine art.
I have several websites dedicated to different aspects of my photography; my main public website is at www.davidrichphotography.org

It's also nice to have instant feedback on your photos. If the exposure is wrong, you can tell immediately and make adjustments. Also, if you don't like a photo, you can delete it.
I do shoot with film occasionally. I mostly shoot 35mm, but I'm just starting to get into medium format. I shoot both color and black and white, but I think I like black and white slightly more. With film photos, I scan the prints onto my computer to go along with my digital photos. I also like to put together scrapbooks using my film photos.
I share my photos online. The largest online gallery I have is on deviantart. My gallery there is http://yuripanda.deviantart.com I also post photos on my website at http://www.lindsaydean.com and in my photo blog http://lindsaylensbaby.blogspot.com/

I have a Diana+ camera which uses a medium format film, a film which is very hard to find nowadays. But, I enjoy shooting on a medium format film because it has less number, we need to bear in mind that every shot counts and that no shot must be put to waste so think, think and think is necessary.
I also have lots of plastic/toy cameras which uses 135 type of film or the 35mm. I shoot like a kid in those cameras haha shooting just about anything because that is what lomo taught me until, I have this photojournalism class and our prof enlightened me about it.
As of the moment, I have my aunt's SLR which I am using for our photojourn class. I enjoy the SLR and its features and now, I am itching to have DSLR.
Film is always fun and exciting but sometimes, we need photo results in a snap so, we go digital.
I don't have a digital camera. I only have my trusty and very reliable 2 megapixel camera phone. At times, I feel that I need to have a digicam for better shots because some great things can't be recorded by just a phone cam which is designed to be a phone and only has a bonus feature of a camera. you see my point? hehehe
Film shots can now be scanned to CD in some photo printing shops. I try to edit if the lighting is not that good so as not to waste the photo. Besides, you can't come up with a great photo which is edited that sourced out from a bad photo right? so editing is fine with me. I am more of having my pictures in digital because I want to share them to my friends and family who shares the same thing with me --internet. I only print the photos I really really really like and when I need it.
What kind of photography I like to do. Hmm. Just about anything. Like I said, everything about photography is fun.
IF I CAN MAKE YOU SEE WHAT I SEE, I WOULD BE REALLY HAPPY.
Sometimes, photographs are so good and it ends up disturbing as well like in photojourn, you get to shoot the reality of life. Remember that vulture-child photo by Kevin Carter? It is so disturbing but is captured intensely, affecting the viewer of the pic emotionally and making them aware of their surroundings and again, the reality of life.
Do you post your photos on a website? Yes I do. In multiply.com and just recently, flickr but I noticed that you need to be a PRO member there to be able to have more albums so I have random shots in 3 albums but well categorized (i guess HAHAHA)
woah, i have a long post for this one. it seems that i really liked your discussion hehehe
