I'm not sure what you mean by Obsession? I can't think of any part that was obsession? I know that some parts of the play appeared to be more about deep love then others.

In fact, I think that love is a lot of work instead of just affection. It goes beyond feeling, and in that sense, may include compulsion of a sort, though not obsession. | |

Romeo's friends even pointed out that he was already engaged to someone else he'd just met. The drama revolves around a very shallow but everlasting love!
