My New Year almost started with a bang!  | |  Last December 31 I was walking home alone around nine in the evening. It was raining and there was hardly any one on the street. I was carrying my handbag, a gift bag (with an unopened gift given to me by a colleague), and my guitar. Suddenly, three men in a motorcycle stopped in front of me and robbed me. They took everything except my guitar. Believe it or not, despite a gun pointing at me, I still managed to beg them not to take my guitar. And surprisingly, they gave it back.
Anyway, it was a very traumatic experience. I actually thought they were going to shoot me. Talk about almost starting the year with a BANG---literally.
