Getting to know you - Let's talk purses, handbags etc.  

hI rUSTY, SO i guess i 'd better be left out of the discussion since it consists of purses and handbags:

yes, i do carry a purse. i have a cgarette case inside of it. my purse is a tan color, w/turquoise. it beloned to my mother & i have no idea what brand it is.

I do carry a purse....it is a cute little beige purse with a brown handle. Every once in a while I will swap it out with a completely brown or completely black purse. I try to keep my purse small because I try to cram it with as much stuff as it will carry. I don't smoke--so no ciggy case. My MP3 player, cell phone, and wallet are the only standards I carry.

hi rusty i have lots of bags and no time to count!i even changed it very often.i am bag freak!and the color hmmm all the colors i have!!!!the brand most i have is benetton and Esprit and some are unknown.if handbags i dont mind brands as long as i like the color and style.i dpnt feel hurt to carry my bag. i just feel comfortable and pretty with my bag hehehe

I do carry a case. I carry everything in it. Right now my purse is the size of a large carry on bag...LOL Its just as heavy too. I have to switch shoulders when I carry it sometimes. I tried smaller purses but I feel totally lost if I have to leave things home. You just never know when you might need some of these things. My husband laughed so hard at me because I have a few granola bars in my purse and he wanted to know why? I told him they are in there in case I get stranded somewhere I dont want to starve! He thought that was so funny. i even have and umbrella in my purse, extra undies, a toothbrush and tooth paste, makeup etc. a water bottle. I am thinking that the smart thing would be to pack a small bag for the car, then I dont have to carry the stuff around with me, but then again what if I went in someone elses car? Plus I dont want to be at work and need something and have it all the way in my car.

I'll respond to this, but how about the guys. Some of them have wallets, or bag they carry their things in?
I 5 or six hand bags. Most have shoulder straps. I also have a fancy pack for when I go places with the childre, a park or something so I can carry what I need and not have to worry with holding onto it.
I have a Jordache bag or two, Tommy Hielfiger, and a few more that I don't remember the names. Mostly I have black, a white one, tan, and one silver clutch or two.
I don't carry much in them, my check books, a calender of events I have to do on some days and have all birthdays marked in them as well as addresses of friends and family. There are phone numbers I need at various times. My bank cards, some pictures of grandchildren, drivers license, and discount cards for certain stores, business cards of people and places I associate with.
I just bought a small wallet to put my money and cards in.
I don't have large or over sized purses because what I carry around with me is not that much and I hate having a lot of things in there. I want it clean and organized.
I think that is it, oh and my cell phone is always in my purse that I take with me.

I carry tote bags not really purses even though i collect purses and have a huge collection of them..
I have a wallet, no cig case and lots of other junk since you never know when you will need it..Mine are cotton..no brand..and if my shoulder hurts then its time to clean out the junk..lol..cause it will be to heavy..

I don't carry a purse...being a scatter brain, I've left them in too many places. Thankfully I've always found them. If I carry anything it's usually a fanny pack or something small like that. It's always seemed that the bigger the bag, the more stuff can be crammed into it. Carrying something small, you really do get by and carry only what you need.
I have two fanny packs...one is turquise the other is purple. Both are easy to spot if I set them down for a minute. Usually if I'm just running errands, I stuff my drivers license and debit card in my back pocket.

I have tried to downsize. I carry a regular black purse...can't remember the brand. I bought it at one of those purse parties! It isn't so heavy that I have to switch shoulders. That is after I downsized....I used to carry so much stuff in it that it was cumbersome. How about you?

Yes, I carry a purse. The one I use most is black, Coach purse with silver hardware. That's my everyday purse. I don't carry a cigarette case, although I do smoke. I normally purchase cigarettes in a box so they don't get smashed and I put it in one of the little pockets inside my purse. I probably have about 5 purses, but I don't change them out very often. The colors I have are 2 black, 1 chocolate brown,1 tan/gold & 1 kind of burgundy color mix. All are coach brand. I got rid of all my other purses.
