| | You said in one of my posts that you work out with weights a lot. When do you do your exercise? If you do it in the evening that could be a factor in your sleep because of the chemicals your body releases during exercise. Working out in the morning would be better. I know with my husband if he sleeps during the day, even for a few hours, he will be up all night long because he actually sleeps better during the day than at night from years of driving a cab at night, his body is just more tired during the day and more alert at night. Also laying down in the bed when you can't sleep only makes it worse. You get frustrated and annoyed and it raises your blood pressure and makes your entire body agitated. When you can't sleep get out of the bed and go to another room, do something else. Maybe get a book and blanket and rest in a chair or on the couch until you are ready to go back to sleep. If you associate your bed with annoyance that is about all you will get out of it.
