| What to eat when your low carbing it at the Olive Garden  | | | | I just came from the Olive Garden and had a great dinner. I skipped the bread and ate salad and 1 stuffed mushroom as an appetizer. Then for my main course I had the mixed grill. ( That's what it's called). It's steak, chicken and grilled vegetables- squash, and fried potatoes. I only ate about half of the potatoes, and most of the other veggies. eating the potatoes brought my carb count up of course, but only 16 grams. And I knew we were going there tonight, so i made sure I ate things that were very low carb the rest of the day, and I walked my 3 miles as well. My total net carbs were only 21. Now if i ate all the potatoes of course it would have gone up more,and yes i gave up the delicious bread sticks, but you know what? the taste of a bread stick doesn't out weigh the feeling I'm going to have when I step on the scale the next time and see another lb. lost. | | | | | | | | | | Local Coupons 1 ridiculously huge coupon a day.
