My dad's birthday, Wii or Playstation 3?  

yes, wii is also for adults. I actually know quite a few adults that have a lot of fun with it! I am the most unactive person in the world, and I would love to have a wii....lol...I vote for the Wii. Good luck and happy new year!

The Wii is probably more suited for older adults than the PS3. I have a couple of games that are enjoyed by my 3 year old son and his 52 year old grandmother. If he is really into video games there are your typical RPG's but the best part about the Wii is that some of the gmaes are so engaging and easy to understand.

Wii is for everyone. Even people in their eighties. You could start with Wii Sports and Wii Fit. There's other games that use the Wii balance board other than Wii Fit. I know Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party does. Rayman Raving Rabbids is good for an arm workout. You could also try a Dance Dance Revolution game.

Wii. Wii is better for adults. Compare the main title games of the PS3 to Wii. PS3 has a lot of great first person shooter games, but what adult likes that? My parents dont! Now take wii games: Mario, Sonic....

The wii would be perfect for your dad. There are a lot of games that really can get a good work out, out of you. I don't think that a ps3 would be good since it's more for gamers. The wii offers a lot of games that make you move around on a step board type thing. If he's loking for a good time then the wii is the best.

Playstation 3 is a lto more advanced but for an adult definately a wii. The whole family can join in with the wii and have a lot of fun for hours. An yes it does help with fitness:p

I think Play Station 3 would give a better solution to your problem as I am also a man who loves playing computer games all the time :)

It's for sure Nintendo Wii is also fun and can be preferred by adults as well, however I don't think it's entertainment will last as long as a Play Station 3. I find Wii games funny and play them a little but not for many hours or weeks. However, some playstation 3 games are just my addiction and I can play them for a year.

Yes, wii is designed for adults too! It is actually designed by Nintendo for adults to be used for their exercise. In fact it used in hospitals in the US and it is written on Times Magazine.

There is a game wii sports designed with an exercise program wherein a player will play sports like tennis, bowling and golf. You will play it once a day and the program will keep track of your speed, energy and balance. What's good about the program is that you won't be able to cheat on it and excel in just one day. You have to do it once a day as a form of exercise.

My family bought the game console last year. A lot of games are available in the market and it is fun playing with it. A good way of bonding with the family too.
