Thats cool, I havent played GURPS in a long long time.

I've never actually RPG but I've had friends who just love them. I think if I could find a good GM and a game I might be interested in I would start RPGing.

Ahh damn that sucks. I havent played any in about 6 years or so, cant find anyone:(. There is an AD&D meet up group but the group meets at 9am on saturdays. Um what? What kind of gamer gets up that early on a weekend lol.

I have to say that at conventions, the gamers were the bane of our existance, some gamers were like sloths, come into the con-suite and try and take food back to game some more. I liked the cons that refused to let food leave the con-suite.

Yeah I bet so lol. Yeah I found that some of the links dont work, but most of them do, I would say 90% of them do, maybe a little more.

Have you tried runescape.com? I have dial up & it still plays pretty well.

I have played that game - it did work well on dial up but its been ages since i logged on I doubt my character is still there. I wasn't sure if they had updated it to be a bandwidth hog too or not as well. Good to know.

try downloading ziggy games download on zdnet.. it has several vs of mah jong on there and a collection of 200 flash games that are all free along with movies and radio stations etc.. it will only work if you are online though

Lol sure you can be a hobbit, but only game that calls them hobbits is MERP (middle earth role playing) great game. Others you would be a halfling, same thing though.

Time to show off my geekatude...

Actually hobbits & halflings aren't the same. Halflings are simply miniturized humans that are about 1/2 our hight with only some very slight elvish features. Scaled up they'd probably resemble a half elf. Hobbits are more like human dwarfs ( not the D&D dwarfs ) with a little more than average hair on their body & oversized feet.
