I agree with you 100 percent, Pose123. I know that others will say that I am not realistic, but I can assure you that I am a realist.

Some places do not comprehend the concept of diplomacy, they want things their way or no way.. I hate war, hatred, killing, so many things that I hate the idea of, but, sometime war is necessary.. There are so many people with so many different beliefs and no one is willing to work together.. There are people who want to see any and all Americans dead and there is no changing this train of thought with them.. These people train their small children to hate us, even before the children are capable of knowing what the word hate means.. There is brainwashing going on in ways that we would never dream of..I can't even come close to imagining teashiing a child hatred and training him or her to grow up with the only future in mind it to murder as many people as possible..

I don't even pretend to understand the thought process of certain religions, certain nationalities but I do know of bits and pieces of what I have heard over the years.. There are people who would rather hate someone that they know nothing about than to change and try to get to know this person or nation better.. They have been taught the same ideas that they are teaching their children.. Even if they could change, they risk being killed by doing so.. Everyone doesn't have the freedom that we have, if they are told to hate, they had better hate or risk death..

I would love to see the end of all war but it isn't going to be, and that is a shame.. Most people are great people, just like yourself, but the ones that hate and will continue to hate are the ones that will keep wars going on until the end of time.. I am so thankful that I know I have a better place to go when it is all over..

AS much as we all want peace and end the decades of war between Israel and the Palestines, it is quite unconceivable that the conflict will be resolved in our lifetime. Too much hostilities, dead relatives, human pain and sufferings to simply just eradicate thoughts of retaliations between these two nations. They most probably need lobotomy or full memory relapse in order to forget.

Conflict will always characterize the world in which we live and it always has, even the Bible has full of wars and only through victory and annihilations the wars ended.

I reckon as long as there are people that want to benefit from others' downfalls, peace is impossible to achieve. We humans are not perfect and there are those that want to control all things. It would be nice if we could just all get along. All hope is not lost as European countries once beseech with years of wars now able to live peacefully.

Yes I have been reading about this Israel palestine conflict and the first thing that came to my mind is whether war is the meane to settle rheir differences..And my answer is a big NO........Actually this rocket attacks and shelling is not making any sense to me....It will result in only the ordinary and innocent civilians getting killed or injured or left homeless...It will never be a solution to their demands.I wish the two sides will sit across table and sort it out with the help of the UN and other countries.War will only result in blood shed and further hatred and destruction of vast proportion,not to mention human loss to both sides.OH god,I do hope both the sides will realise their mistakes and try to sort things out without furthering the destruction and bloodshed...we can only hope and pray Pose......amen.

You are right, WAR IS NOT THE ANSWER.

But sad one must take up the gun sometimes to make the other side understand all is lost this way when they refuse to come to the TABLE and give up something.

WHY do I say GIVE UP SOMETHING, you need to do this for it to work for both sides, you make it both sides lose something but in the end all gain something.

So let them BLOW them self off the planet and leave us peaceful ones alone.

Yes I agree War is not the answer. All it takes is one side to attack and the other side needs to attack to protect its people. I guess its hard to comprehend whats going on in Israel and Gaza Strip.

Yes, you are absolutely right. War is never a solution. Now what happening in Gaza was so unfortunate. A lot of innocent people are killed by missiles from Israel and no of innocent Israelis also killed by Hamas. This is not a solution at all.

Yes War is not the solution to gain anything. With out war we can have meeting with them in front of big nation people and can solve their problem. If there is war everything we will loose like lives .So its not the solution.We should be in peace.

We also have a conflict situation here in Mindanao whose roots originated in the fight of King Ferdinand of Aragon and Queen Isabella of Castile against Emir Boabdil of Granada. That fight occurred in 1492, but in Mindanao, there is still no solution in sight.

Perhaps it's also worthwhile to peer closer into the political economy of war. The late US President Eisenhower warned the world about this, specifically about the Military-Industrial Complex. Some people earn from wars?
