| | I use the cap most times, but I do occasionally water it down a bit and use a glass, as we all know, we are supposed to.. I like the green mouthwash, I am not even sure which one it is.. I don't care for the brown color Listerine, it tastes horrible.. I buy the store brand most times, it is as good as the name brand and it is much cheaper.. It works as good and if it doesn't no one has told me any different.. So, I am assuming it works as good as the other and my bref is ok.. | | | | | | |

| | When I use mouthwash, I have my own little cup that I use...not liking the idea of using the cap when someone else has used it...ICK! (even if it's my own family LOL). And I have to have the minty fresh stuff. None of that medicine tasting nasty mouthwash for me. When I use that I feel like my breath smells like Nyquil. | | | | | | |

| | I use the cap of the mouthwash. It always seems such a waste to get something else to measure a certain amount when they have the cap for that. I swish it around and than spit it out. The brand of mouthwash I use is Scope the Minty flavor. It makes my mouth feel really refreshed. | | | | | | |

| | I don't use mouthwash, unless I have something happening where someone else will have reason to sniff my breath. If not, I don't use it. I don't like it. It stings and makes me kinda gag. Toothpaste is enough, I think. | | | | | | |
Transdisc (18434)

| | Do you measure your toothpaste on another applicator before putting it on your teefbrush? | | | |
| |
Transdisc (18434)
|
| | You know -- a toothpaste applicator. You squeeze the paste onto the applicator (it looks like a small putty knife with a measuring scale on it) so that you can easily measure how much you need with very little waste. | | | |
itsmefaith (2222)
|
| | Oh...hmmm, I don't think I have ever seen that. The only thing I have ever seen is the thing you put over the tube to smooth it out so the toothpaste can be applied more evenly. I think there's less waste with that, too. That's not what you mean, is it? | | | |
Transdisc (18434)
|
| | The thing that you put on the tube is to be used in conjunction with the toothpaste applicator, otherwise it is for naught. You're kidding, right?? I don't think that I've ever seen the toothpaste squeezer sold without the toothpaste applicator!! | | | |

| | I do not use mouthwashes other than water usually. But if I do use it it will depend on the type if I use a cup or not. I usually will pour scope into the cap and use it - then rinse the cap off well. I find listerine to be too strong and will dilute it in a dixie type bathroom cup. I like that everyone will have their own private containers of mouthwash. | | | | | | |
Transdisc (18434)

| | Hmm, I haven't seen a purple one here. Perhaps they sell different versions in different countries? The pink one is Plax Gentle Care. I wouldn't want to drink a bottle of it but, as a mouthwash, it is good. Mildly minty. | | | |

| | Hi, Trans, sorry it's been a while but things have been a bit busy. Regarding your post, when I'm willing to spend $5 or $6 for a bottle of mouthwash, which is what it usually costs, I pour an amount into the cap and swig from it and gargle. As for the flavor, I like mint - usually Scope - the green colored one. Thanks for the interesting topic as always... | | | | | | |
