Huge Orange Murano Glass Necklace  |

|  I made this necklace using a huge 40mm Orange fire Murano glass focal bead. I used craft wire which is very soft and pliable to make it into a pendant then added it to the lovely goldtone chain. This is the first piece I have done in a while. I was so busy over the holidays I just did not have time to create. Please share any new pieces you have done.

| |  Very interesting! I see that you have a shop on etsy.com. What do you think of selling on etsy? Has it been easy for you? I'm a crafter and just purchased a digital camera for the sole purpose of selling my stuff on there. Is it a hassle or something fairly simple to get into?

| | I like Etsy, it has its goods and bads. It is a lot cheaper than Ebay, though sales are kind of slow there. It is hard because there are all crafters on there. So making your product special, and stand out can be difficult. I have had 7 sales, since I think July, so I guess I can not complain. | | | |

| |  I know what you mean! I joined a sea glass collector's group and most of the members make sea glass jewelry and some of the wire wrapping is like WOW!, compared to my very basic wraps. (they also charge way more than I do for my jewelry...and make quite a few sales too!)
I have a long way to go before I'm wrapping up to their level.
