I know I live in a town that is really rich in history the underground railroad passed through here it was the first capital of Ohio it is just so rich with history and there are mounuments all over town marking histrocial sites and such How much history to know about your town and share some with me please!

I live in Bath in the UK. A very historical city mainly because of the large Roman baths that were found here. I am presently studying the history of the city during its heyday in the eighteenth century when it was probably the premier resort for 'people of quality' in the whole country. The city expanded a great deal in this period, including the building of the Royal Crescent and the Circus, which are fine examples of Paladian architecture using the local sandstone.

I enjoy it when I make a discovery, but as with anything if it becomes your 'day job' (so to speak) it can often seem like a chore.
