| Have you ever eaten powder egg shells?  | | | | I was fixing my omelet for breakfast and I noticed a bit of eggshell got into the eggs. I didn't bother to take it out because I remember once reading that egg shells are the best source of calcium for our body! It's easy to digest and helps build bone density! I have never eaten them but I want to try. It's easy to turn them into powder too. Just wash out the egg white but leave the membrane inside because that has a lot of nutrients in it. Let the shells air dry on a paper towel. When they are dry break them into fine pieces then eventually powder. It's good to mix them with lemon juice but I am not sure of the exact measurements. | | I read that it does not taste bad and can be added to foods when being prepared. I have seen people on TV make drinks in a blender and they throw the whole egg inside, this is probably why. The omelet is the only thing I cook on a daily basis so I am pretty good at it. It's important to have a good pan and I use cooking spray instead of oil or butter to cook it in.
