Superstars of Dance on NBC

I watched the first night - and other than the Ireland group ones.. the rest were nothing but gymnastics, arobics and other jumping and lifting and most certianly NOT dancing! I mean, most of the women had their feet OFF the floor 80% of the "dance". Sorry, to me that isn't dancing. And the routines were so s*xually explicit (the clothing attire also) that it was disgusting to watch. Did you see the first show with that one guy that literally disjointed himself all over? He kept saying "I am not double jointed" but all he did was jiggle his joints in time with the beat of the music.. sorry that was not only not a "dance" but it was gross. I won't be tuning back in unless I know I'll get to catch the Ireland dances.

Hi thelastwolf113! Yes, I watched Superstars of Dance on Monday. It's a pretty nice program. Some of the dancers were kind of lame, and only preformed arobics but there were some good dancers also like the girl who did classic ballet, the classic Indian dance was fantastic, Irish dancers were tops, and Russian dancers were good. I really don't know where those judges were coming from, they didn't rate some of the dancers fairly most of the time. I think the judges were funny. There was one Chinese judge and he never said a word as to what he liked or disliked about the dancers. And this Argentina judge gave rude responses to the dancers and seemed annoyed with just about everyone. Anyway, I got a good laugh out of watching this show. The American group who performed street dancing were awesome. I thought the show was entertaining and will watch it again.

I had high hopes for it too. I was quite disappointed. I don't know if I will watch it anymore or not. I have two other shows on at the same time and can only DVR 2. I don't think this one will make the cut.
I thought the duet of those girls about the photographs was pretty good, yet it got trashed by the judges.
I want to see real dancing. Not a girl balancing on some guys shoulders.
