How to Go Green?  

I realize that this has been an ongoing problem for the world for some time now. There have been suggestions to try to save the earth. Global warming is something that might not come to an end but we can try what we can to salvage as much as possible.
I would just say to keep saving the water by taking shorter showers and watching how we use our electricity. If everyone in the world would help a little and do their part it could make a big difference.

Sometimes I think we 'aim too high". We can all make minor changes that will add up. Such as stop buying plastic bottled water and using aluminum water bottles. This took me a few months to get into the habit of but now it is just routine for me to fix my thermos/aluminum bottle before I leave the house and actually it keeps the water colder than it stays in the plastic. I bought a filter for my tap water at home which cost me $49 and my thermos cost me $10. But since I have started carrying it I haven't bought any bottles of water which has saved me at the least $2 per day. So in time it pays for its own self. There are a lot of other little things we do at our home such as recycling trash. We have a bin (3) in the kitchen, one for aluminum , one for paper and the other for everything else! LOL
Small changes add up so if everyone will just take on one change it makes a huge difference.

at firs we should stop cutting trees and start planting them.... tree planting programs in the schools may help... then we have to grab environment friendly equipments..... like vehicles runs in solar system.. and many more...the list is endless but these two ways are the major ones... start using solar power today,,,,

Personally, I'm not a green person, When my mom was a kid they talked about global cooling, I believe in the whole earth cycles thing

BUT I do like the idea of making more engergy efficient things, and throwing away less, and making better choices. So far I think different people are off to a good start, from more efficient appliances to many companies and stores, offering ways to save on grocery bags (including reusable ones) but the one thing I would like to see improved, would be what we usually throw away, things like cookie wrappers, and foam egg cartons, and pringles tins, And chip bags. If these came in more resusable packaging, or if there was a way to recycle them, I would like that very much. For now, All we can do is buy less of these items, and possibly send letters asking for more recyclable packaging. such as paper or cardboard cartons.

There are many more things, But I think I'll stop there for now.

Most of the researchers say that we have crossed the breaking point which means now the process(global warming) has started and it has gone to such an extent that now we cant reverse the climate conditions or stop the melting of antarctic ice caps..

But don't lose hope we still got a chance..

what if we cant reverse the global warming..we can stop the global warming by going green.

encourage people to go green, if they are not aware of the global warming regardless of who he is try to explain what is happening around because of global warming.

So where do you guys think we went wrong? Like at what point in time, did the world start to take a SERIOUS downturn? And what do you think was the main tool instigated to start this?

I started composting raw materials and built a small green house in our back yard. My family recycles everything and we think before we buy. Our garbage is very small now. This year, I am going to try to not purchase much and not buy a single clothing. I have also stopped driving.
I don't know which side to be one based on the debate about global warming vs. cooling, but I feel good when I contribute to effect less on my mother earth.
