I agree, I think Bryn... you are too pessimistic, an increasing large number of people are stopping eating meat, to cite your own example. One person can change the world but they cannot do it alone.

i'm not being pessimistic, its realistic;) there are plenty of people who have become vegetarian of course. however, what i meant was that people will not simply change because you TELL them to change, it requires your persuasive reasoning to change someone's opinion on anything... see what i mean?

a possible way to stop any given war is to find out WHY the different sides are fighting and perhaps then negotiating what is amicable... understanding why people are fighting is key to bringing that conflict to an end, it's just that every war is stimulated by different terms, which makes it difficult to generalise...

also, you have to keep in mind that societies are different throughout the world and some have advanced in ways that do not correspond with others, there is no real 'global government' per say to align all beliefs and customs in harmony, even though the UN is an effort... they show it isn't at all an easy task

Peole fought for personal interest.
Interest varies and they are willing to spread blood
just to reach that aim.
How many innocent lives will be sacrifice?
how many kids will grow orphan?
How many widows will cry out for help?
Its very tearjerky to see other lives being brutally blasted.
Let us have a heart.
Let us be a hero in our simple way.
Save lives at every best we could do.
