Bumper Crop by Joe R. Lansdale  | |  This is a great short story read from the Master story teller JOE R. LANSDALE. This is his second 'crop' of short stories in a couple years with a great cover and given a first class treament for these gems. If you haven't heard of Joe by now these short stories will amaze you for starters. Then find his Edgar winning novel 'THE BOTTOMS' and one of his excellent crime duo Hap and Lenonard mysteries and you will pretty much come to the same conculsion most all of us know, Joe's the biggest next big thing waiting to happen and in the meantime he is just giving us fans one knock out after the other. An American treasure trove of some of the best writings in the past 50 or more years! Give this guy a read.
